Affric Highlands Workshop Series

Rewilding Europe Travel is working closely with our Affric Highlands partner Trees for Life to create and run regular workshops hosted at the new Dundreggan Estate Rewilding Centre.

Workshops will focus on a range of topics such as rewilding, foraging, photography, wildlife tracking, birding, botany, fungi, literature and art.

Workshops will be expert-led, learning experiences where participants learn new skills or enhance the skills they’ve already developed.

The Dundreggan Rewilding Centre will be world-class, environmentally sensitive facility that will serve as a gateway to the wider landscape.

The Centre will allow Trees for Life to engage a larger, more diverse audience with the natural and cultural heritage of the Highlands and will give all workshop participants a deeper understanding of rewilding and why it’s critical for our future.

The Rewilding Centre will enable Trees for Life to share the forest with everyone, making Dundreggan the place in Scotland where people can experience ancient pinewood and unique juniper forest, discover centuries of Gaelic history and connect with a landscape undergoing transformation through rewilding.
